The Shell & Tube Tubular Heat Exchanger is a simple, maintenance-free, efficient method of heat transfer. The tubes are formed with the unique dimple or corrugate tubing suited to products with low particulate content and vapour and gas heat transfer applications.

Aurora’s SHELL & TUBE Tubular Heat Exchanger utilizes the unique DIMPLE or CORRUGATE tubing and is designed to have the primary fluid flow through an array of parallel inner tubes configured in a bundle while the service fluid flows within the outer shell in a counter current direction.

  • Can be manufactured from a comprehensive range of alloys including exotic metals such as duplex stainless steels, titanium, hastalloy and zirconium to suit corrosive liquids and high temperatures
  • Constructed to comply with relevant New Zealand and Australian standards, statutory and quality assurance procedures
  • Designs include provision for thermal expansion and contraction where applicable
  • The bundle of DIMPLE or CORRUGATE tubes is inserted and becomes integral with the outer tube shell with provisions, where needed, for thermal expansion
  • Optional removable end covers, which allow either single pass or multi-pass primary fluid flows
  • Allows for high velocity fluid streams to minimize burn-on of product in U.H.T. processing
